I’ve discovered a great way to while away the time which involves one of my favourite things: dreaming. It’s called ‘making a treasury’ and it’s part of the fun of being a selling member of Etsy. I won’t bore you with the details but it’s enough to say that everytime I curate (lovely word) a new treasury I get to chose 16 items that I would like and to publish the collection. Of course I can’t inclue my own items so this is an exercise in real wish-listing and it’s great fun. Pick a theme, give the collection a heading and off you go … one of those please, one of those, oh and just one of those…lol!!
This weekend I’ve created two lovely lists. This one is my inital Christmas list (yes, I know, it’s still only July but a girl has to get in early you know…) www.etsy.com/treasury/MTI5MzI2MjR8NTA3ODg2NzM3/dear-father-christmas . I hope someone from my family takes a look… the list includes sixteen lovely items that are unique and can’t be found anywhere else. So if you want to find something very personal for friends and family this coming winter why not take a look over at Etsy. Or it’s UK equivalent, Folksy.
And my second list this weekend is very close to my heart. I’m a huge believer in the magic and power of saying ‘Thank You’ and try to say it with meaning as often as possible. It’s a double pleasure for me in that I hope by saying ‘thank you’ with meaning to someone I’m giving them a moment of happiness. And as a big ‘paper and pen’ fan saying ‘thank you’ is a great opportunity for me to send a card or write a letter … so this list contains sixteen lovely cards or notelets that I’d be happy to send: www.etsy.com/treasury/MTI5MzI2MjR8NTEyMDM5MzMx/thank-you-so-very-much.
With so many great things to chose from and new items being added all the time I think I’m going to enjoy my new hobby…
